Dr. Nicholle Hommel earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. Since then she has spent most of her time working as a small animal veterinarian in a private practice in Philadelphia, where she has furthered her skills in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic imaging. She also comes with two years of experience working emergency and critical care medicine at a fast-paced referral hospital.
Dr. Hommel also has a strong interest in ultrasonography. She has attended multiple training courses at the Academy of Diagnostic Imaging in Arlington, Texas, and has been performing abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds on dogs and cats for the last 8 years. She will be bringing this skill to our hospital, and will be working toward certification in soft tissue ultrasound in 2020.”
In her free time, Dr. Hommel and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, biking and camping, and staying active in the local community.
Dr. Hommel has a strong sense of compassion and understanding, and thrives on working with clients to provide the best quality of care for their companions. She is very excited to share this energy with the team at Art Museum Vet Center and meet all of you.
